Two people arrested for fighting over car horns.
Simply because of honking loudly to overtake, two people got into a conflict, argued, and then fought. Ho Chi Minh City police have initiated legal proceedings and arrested both of them.
On April 30, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency initiated legal proceedings and temporarily detained Tran Trong Le (born in 1978, residing in An Phu Dong ward) and Pham Hoang Gia (born in 1994, residing in Hung Long commune) for the crime of "Disrupting public order," related to the street brawl on the afternoon of March 22 that caused chaos and spread on social media.

Accordingly, a video circulating on social media shows a ride-hailing motorbike driver getting into a fight with a pedestrian at the Mai Chi Tho - Nguyen Co Thach intersection (An Khanh ward) while stopped at a red light. The incident caused the driver's motorbike to fall to the ground and collide with other vehicles.
During the struggle, the two continued to collide with another motorbike, causing traffic chaos. Despite attempts by bystanders to intervene, the two did not stop.
Upon receiving the information, the Criminal Police Department, in coordination with the An Khánh Ward Police, launched an investigation and identified two individuals involved, Trần Trọng Lễ and Phạm Hoàng Gia, with sufficient grounds for criminal prosecution.
According to the initial investigation, at approximately 4:30 PM on March 22nd, Gia, in a drunken state, was being driven by Ms. DM on a motorbike along Mai Chi Tho Street (towards Vo Van Kiet). Behind them, Le was riding a motorbike, constantly honking to overtake. Annoyed by the honking, Gia turned around and cursed; Le retorted and then sped away.
While stopped at a red light at the Mai Chi Tho - Nguyen Co Thach intersection, Le pulled over, and Gia arrived, got out of his car, and they started arguing, which led to a fight. The two men clashed, hitting several motorbikes that were stopped at the red light. Despite attempts by Ms. DM and other bystanders to intervene, both remained aggressive before finally leaving.
