Arrested 3 subjects who threatened and robbed a girl at night
The girl was pulled off her motorbike, causing it to fall over. The subjects demanded that the victim hand over all her belongings and get off the motorbike.
On February 13, Gia Lam District Police, Hanoi City, said they had investigated and arrested the suspects involved in the robbery that occurred on the night of February 10 in Yen Vien Commune, causing a stir in public opinion.
Previously, at around 10 p.m. on February 10, a girl was riding a motorbike on the road in Yen Vien commune when suddenly three men on a Lead motorbike overtook her and stopped her. One of the men sitting in the middle quickly got off the motorbike, held a weapon to the girl's neck and threatened to rob her.
The girl was pulled off her motorbike, causing it to fall to the right. The subjects asked the victim to hand over all her belongings and get off the motorbike.
After that, the subject continuously pressured the victim to hand over her property. Meanwhile, the subject driving the Lead motorbike backed up, picked up the victim’s handbag to check it, then quickly put it back. When the subjects got on the motorbike and left, the girl tried to follow to ask for her property back, but was pushed away by the subject.
The images circulating on social networks are causing public outrage because the group of people committing the violations were so reckless.
Immediately after receiving the information, Gia Lam District Police quickly investigated and arrested the related subjects including Tran Gia Huy (born 2009) and Nguyen Khac Thanh (born 2009), both residing in Long Bien District, and Tran Van Tu (born 2009), residing in Yen Thuong Commune (Gia Lam). Currently, the police are temporarily detaining the above subjects to investigate the act of robbery and handle them according to the law.
