In recent years, Vinh City has made many efforts in investing in and building transportation infrastructure to better meet the travel needs of its people. However, there are still shortcomings affecting traffic operations and causing frustration among the public, especially in the arrangement of traffic signs and road markings.

However, in reality, there are still shortcomings that affect people's traffic flow. For example, at the Quan Bau intersection, there are two designated pedestrian areas, causing confusion for traffic participants and creating inconsistencies in movement. Photo: D.C.

In particular, a pedestrian walkway is located right at the traffic light stop, about 20 meters from the traffic light pole. Photo: Dinh Tuyen

The existence of two pedestrian crossings at the same intersection leads to inconsistency in stopping at red lights, with each road user interpreting and implementing the rules differently. This results in disorder and chaos for both vehicles and pedestrians. Photo: Dinh Tuyen

In front of the Provincial People's Committee building, the "crowbar" markings prohibiting vehicle stopping have not yet been removed, causing many people to hesitate to stop at red lights. This inadvertently creates traffic congestion behind the road, increasing traffic pressure in the area. Photo: Dinh Tuyen

On Ho Tung Mau Street, at the branches leading from the Giao Te Hotel, vehicles are not allowed to go straight but must turn right at the dashed yellow line. However, these points lack proper signage, making it easy for unfamiliar drivers to commit traffic violations, causing further inconvenience and difficulty in navigating. Photo: Dinh Tuyen

At the intersection of the extended Ly Thuong Kiet Street and Le Loi Street, traffic congestion frequently occurs due to the high volume of vehicles, while the area lacks a traffic light system. This leads to chaotic and uncontrollable traffic flow, especially during peak hours. Photo: Dinh Tuyen

Also along the extended section of Ly Thuong Kiet street, there are still some unfinished construction sites that need to be promptly addressed to ensure smoother and safer traffic flow for residents. Photo: Dinh Tuyen
