According to Government Decree 155/2016/ND-CP, the penalties for violations of public hygiene are stipulated as follows: "A fine of VND 500,000 to VND 1,000,000 will be imposed for the act of discarding cigarette butts and ash in unauthorized places in apartment buildings, commercial areas, service areas, or public places; A fine of VND 3,000,000 to VND 5,000,000 will be imposed for the act of discarding household waste in unauthorized locations in apartment buildings, commercial and service areas, or public places. A fine of 5,000,000 to 7,000,000 VND will be imposed for the act of discarding household waste on sidewalks, streets, or into urban wastewater drainage systems or surface water drainage systems in urban areas…” |
