Applications for the 2017 National High School Graduation Examination are now being accepted.
Starting today (April 1st), candidates nationwide begin submitting their applications to register for the 2017 National High School Graduation Examination.
The registration period for this year's exam runs from April 1st to April 20th. After April 20th, candidates are not allowed to change any information regarding the registered exam/subject.
Students can purchase application forms for the national high school graduation exam at high schools, continuing education centers, and district/county education offices in their localities.
The candidate's application includes: 2 application forms, a double-sided photocopy of the National Identity Card on one side of an A4 paper; 2 4x6 cm photos and a stamped envelope clearly stating the candidate's full name and address, all placed in a file folder according to the Ministry of Education and Training's template.
After submitting their application, candidates will be given an account and password to log in to the online exam management software at: http://thisinh.thithptquocgia.edu.vn. This account will be used to log in to the exam management software from the time of registration until viewing results, considering high school graduation recognition, and university/college admissions.
From today (April 1st), candidates can also look up information related to admissions for all universities, teacher training colleges, and other issues related to the 2017 exams and admissions through the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal at http://thituyensinh.vn.

According to Deputy Minister of Education and Training Bui Van Ga, information technology will be thoroughly applied in managing the data for exam registration and university/college admissions. The Ministry has already completed the software for exam registration and university/college admissions.
“The Ministry’s online admissions portal now provides the exam registration and admissions application software for provincial departments to train their staff and test. Over the past few days, the software has run very smoothly without any problems. On April 1st, candidates will begin the exam registration process, and after that, everything will proceed according to the plan and schedule outlined in the guidance document,” Deputy Minister Bui Van Ga said.
According to statistics from the Departments of Education and Training, approximately 955,000 candidates will take the national high school graduation exam in 2017, including independent candidates. Compared to 2016, the number of registered candidates this year is higher (last year it was 900,000). The 2017 exam will be held from June 21st to 24th, with the actual exam time being 2.5 days (in 2016, the exam took place over 4 days).
