(Baonghean.vn) - Con Cuong District Police have successfully investigated and cracked a motorcycle theft case, arresting the suspect.Vi Dinh Bon resides in Yen Khe commune.Authorities seized 5 motorcycles, which were the proceeds of thefts committed by the suspect.
At 3 PM on June 21, 2016, the Con Cuong District Police received a report from Mr. Lo Van Thanh (born in 1998), residing in Trung Huong village, Yen Khe commune, Con Cuong district, stating that at approximately 12 PM that same day, his Yamaha Sirius motorbike, license plate 37M1-00561, valued at about 16 million VND, was stolen from his yard. Following the report, and based on the assessment that the incident occurred recently, the Con Cuong District Police leadership decided to establish Special Case 616T to investigate and clarify the matter.
After gathering evidence and screening suspects, at 0:00 on June 22, 2016, the Con Cuong District Police arrested Vi Dinh Bon (born in 1991), residing in Trung Chinh village, Yen Khe commune, for the crime of motorcycle theft.

At the investigative agency, Vi Dinh Bon confessed that from July 2015 to June 2016, he stole 5 motorcycles in Con Cuong and Tuong Duong districts.
Specifically: Around the beginning of July 2015, four thieves stole a Sirius motorcycle with license plate 37D1-048.73 in the Ban Ve Hydropower Plant area - Tuong Duong district, and then took it to Con Cuong to sell.
On February 15, 2016, he stole a Sirius motorcycle with license plate 37M1-005.61 belonging to Mr. Lo Van Thanh in Trung Huong village, Yen Khe commune, Con Cuong district, and then pawned it to get money to play games.
In late February 2016, he stole a black and white Sirius motorcycle, license plate 37C1-053.60, from the stilt house of Mr. Lo Van Duong in Binh Chuan commune, Con Cuong district. He then sold it to someone in Yen Khe commune, Con Cuong.
On June 13, 2016, the four thieves stole a plum-colored Dream II motorbike with license plate 37B1-0244 (official license plate) belonging to the Con Cuong Protective Forest Management Board, and then sold it in Yen Khe commune, Con Cuong district.
Recently, on June 18, 2016, Bon used the same trick, breaking into the headquarters of the Tuong Duong Military Command and stealing a red and black Sirius motorbike, license plate 37Z8-0625, belonging to an officer of the Tuong Duong District Military Command. Afterwards, Bon took it to Con Cuong District to sell it.
According to Colonel Nguyen Dang Viet, Deputy Head of the Con Cuong District Police: Currently, the investigative agency has recovered 3 motorcycles that Bon had stolen and sold, and is continuing to work to recover the remaining vehicle. At the same time, the related evidence has been transferred to the Tuong Duong District Police for further investigation.
