On October 30, the Investigation Police Agency of Quy Chau District Police announced that they were temporarily detaining Lang Van Quyet (born 2005), residing in Chau Binh Commune, Quy Chau District, for the crime ofillegal drug trafficking.

Through the work of grasping the situation in the area, Quy Chau District Police discovered that in Chau Binh Commune there was a subject with many suspicious signs related to drugs. Quyet was a heavy drug addict and often contacted drug addicts in the area, so he was very cunning and wary of the authorities.

Quyet was identified as a person who specialized in buying drugs at the border and then reselling them to drug addicts in the area. The fact that many drug addicts gathered at Quyet's house every day to buy and sell drugs caused insecurity and public outrage.

Applying synchronous professional measures, on the evening of October 28, the Working Group of the Criminal Police Team investigating criminal, economic and drug crimes coordinated with Chau Binh Commune Police (Quy Chau District) to arrest Lang Van Quyet for illegal drug trafficking when Quyet was selling drugs to an addict. During the arrest, Lang Van Quyet resisted fiercely, but with the spirit of fighting crime to the end, the working group successfully arrested the subject, ensuring absolute safety. The seized exhibits included 41 packets of drugs, 2 packages of white solid substance suspected to be heroin weighing 2.8 grams; 3.8 million VND in cash, 2 motorbikes, 1 mobile phone...

At the police station, Quyet confessed to all his crimes. Currently, the case is still being investigated and expanded.
