On October 30th, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Quy Chau District Police announced that they are temporarily detaining Lang Van Quyet (born in 2005), residing in Chau Binh commune, Quy Chau district, on charges of the following offense:illegal trafficking of narcotics.
Through intelligence gathering in the area, the Quy Chau District Police discovered that in Chau Binh commune, there was an individual exhibiting suspicious behavior related to drugs. Quyet was a heavy drug addict who frequently associated with other drug addicts in the area, making him cunning and wary of law enforcement.

It was determined that Quyết was a person who regularly bought drugs at the border and then resold them to addicts in the area. The daily gathering of many drug addicts at Quyết's house to buy and sell drugs caused a disruption of public order and outrage among the people.
Applying coordinated operational measures, on the evening of October 28th, the task force of the Criminal, Economic, and Narcotics Investigation Team, in coordination with the Chau Binh Commune Police (Quy Chau District), arrested Lang Van Quyet for illegally trading narcotics while he was selling drugs to an addict. During the arrest, Lang Van Quyet fiercely resisted, but with a spirit of fighting crime to the end, the task force successfully apprehended the suspect safely. The seized evidence included 41 packets of narcotics, 2 packets of white solid substance suspected to be heroin weighing 2.8 grams; 3.8 million VND in cash, 2 motorcycles, and 1 mobile phone...
At the police station, Quyết confessed to all his crimes. Currently, the case is being further investigated and expanded.
