Suspect arrested for using car to run over and injure multiple members of a family.
Due to a family dispute, Thanh used his car to run over and kill one person and injure several others in the house before attempting to flee to Cambodia.
On the afternoon of November 30th, the Criminal Police Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Police is temporarily detaining Nguyen Tan Thanh (born in 1979, residing in Thuan Tay hamlet, Ben Cau commune, Tay Ninh province) for investigation and prosecution regarding the act of "killing"
Earlier that day, at around 11:30 AM, Thanh was driving a car with license plate 70A-413.38 past the house of Ms. NTH (born in 1976, residing in Thuan Tay hamlet, Thanh's older sister) when he saw Ms. H., Ms. NTBS (born in 1983), Ms. NTBé N. (born in 1981), and several other people, along with a young boy, standing in the yard. He reversed the car and accelerated, crashing straight into them.
The collision caused Ms. S. to suffer multiple injuries, and several others sustained minor injuries. Not stopping there, Thanh continued to reverse his car and crashed into two motorbikes where a young boy was standing; fortunately, the boy was rescued by his mother. After causing the incident, Thanh fled towards the border crossing.
Ms. S. was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment, but due to the severity of her injuries, she did not survive. Upon receiving the information, the Ben Cau Commune Police, in coordination with the Criminal Police Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Police and the My Quy Tay Border Guard Post, launched a search for Thanh.
At this point, Thanh abandoned his car and used a motorbike to escape. However, just two hours after committing the crime, Thanh was apprehended by the coordinated task force.

At the police station, Thanh confessed that due to pre-existing family conflicts, he committed the crime against his relative.
The Criminal Investigation Department of the Tay Ninh Provincial Police is investigating the cause.
