Around the end of December 2020, through the work of grasping the situation, Thai Hoa Town Police discovered that the subject Va Ba Cha (born in 1997), residing in Muong Long village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, was a subject who frequently appeared in many areas on National Highway 48 and showed many suspicious signs of crimes of transporting, buying, selling, and illegally storing substances.drug.

Through investigation, Thai Hoa town police found that this subject regularly colluded with subjects in Laos to transport large quantities of heroin from Laos to Vietnam for consumption in districts on National Highway 48. Faced with this situation, the town police established Project 121M to combat drug trafficking crimes.
After a period of monitoring and verification, at 11:00 a.m. on January 5, 2021, when discovering that the subject was at the Phu Phuong intersection in Tien Phong commune, Que Phong, showing signs of suspected illegal possession of drugs, the Task Force decided tosolve the case, caught the subject Va Ba Cha red-handed, seized 2 heroin cakes, 2 cell phones and some other objects.
