Arrest of subject setting up camp to produce firecrackers
On January 2, Quynh Luu District Police announced that they had just issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Nguyen Ngoc Thang (born in 1991, residing in Quynh Son Commune, Quynh Luu District) for the crime of "Illegal production of fireworks".
Accordingly, through the work of grasping the situation, Quynh Luu District Police discovered a ring of manufacturing, storing, transporting and trading firecrackers in the area. A special project was established to combat it.

The ringleader is Nguyen Ngoc Thang, who built a small shack in a deserted area (in Quynh Thang commune) with the purpose of illegally manufacturing firecrackers. After the finished products are delivered to other individuals for retail sale.
During the investigation, the Task Force encountered many difficulties, because the production area was located in a remote and difficult-to-access location. In addition, the subjects used many tricks to conceal their crimes.

At 8:00 p.m. on December 24, 2024, Quynh Luu District Police successfully dismantled the case, arrested Nguyen Ngoc Thang while he was manufacturing at the camp, seized at the scene more than 28 kg of firecrackers and explosives, more than 12 kg of chemicals mixed with rice husks and charcoal, 1,200 self-winding firecracker tubes, and 01 fuse rolling machine.
Continuing to expand the investigation, the Special Task Force arrested 3 more subjects including: Le Don Cuu (born in 1985), Dau Duc Thiet (born in 1995) and Le Don Long (born in 1988), all residing in Quynh Van commune, for the act of illegally trading and transporting firecrackers, seizing 7kg of 49-piece firecrackers.

Currently, Quynh Luu District Police have completed procedures to handle the subjects in accordance with the law.
