A man living in Quang Ngai has repeatedly received money from individuals abroad to organize live streams containing anti-Party and anti-State statements.

On April 12th, the Security Investigation Agency of the Quang Ngai Provincial Police served the decision to prosecute, arrest, and search the residence of Le Quoc Hung (born in 1967, residing in Le Hong Phong Ward, Quang Ngai City) for the crime of "propagating and possessing information aimed at opposing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam," as stipulated in Clause 1, Article 117 of the Penal Code.

Previously, the Internal Security Department of the Quang Ngai Provincial Police discovered that Le Quoc Hung had used multiple Facebook accounts to livestream content demanding pluralism and a multi-party system, and insulting President Ho Chi Minh.

During the verification process, the Security Agency investigated and clarified that many videos livestreamed by Hung on Facebook contained distorted and inflammatory content.

Furthermore, Hung repeatedly received money from several anti-Vietnam individuals abroad and allowed these individuals to regularly participate in livestreams to make statements against the Party and the State.

The case is under extensive investigation.
