Arresting individuals involved in the illegal trade of rare animals.
The Anh Son District Police have arrested Nguyen Trong Duc (born in 1995), residing in Anh Son town, Anh Son district, for the crime of "illegally hunting, catching, raising, keeping, transporting, and trading animals belonging to the list of endangered, rare, and precious species prioritized for protection."
Previously, through intelligence gathering, the Anh Son District Police discovered that there were individuals involved in the buying and selling of endangered and rare animals in the area. In response, the District Police established a special task force to combat and dismantle this operation.

Using coordinated investigative techniques, at 10:00 AM on June 18th, on National Highway 7 in Anh Son town, the Special Task Force caught Nguyen Trong Duc red-handed while transporting a slow loris weighing 300 grams.

During an emergency search of the suspect's residence, the police seized two more pythons weighing a total of 18 kg. Currently, the Anh Son District Police Investigation Department has handed over the slow loris and the two pythons to Pu Mat National Park for care and preservation. Simultaneously, Nguyen Trong Duc has been placed under temporary criminal detention for further investigation.
