Authorities apprehended a suspect transporting nearly 30 kg of bird meat of unknown origin.
(Baonghean.vn) - The Mobile Police Unit (Nghe An Provincial Police) has just arrested one suspect transporting bird meat of unknown origin for sale.
DV: At approximately 4:30 PM on September 22nd, following a tip-off from the public about a young man driving a red SYM motorcycle with license plate 37B2-09037 transporting unidentified, foul-smelling bird meat on Nguyen Phong Sac Street (Vinh City), the Mobile Police Unit conducted an investigation.

Upon spotting a young man driving the aforementioned vehicle transporting a sealed white styrofoam box measuring approximately 40x60cm and 40cm high, the task force signaled him to stop, requested an administrative inspection, and determined that the box contained 26kg of bird meat.

At the time of inspection, Mr. Nguyen Van Trung (born in 1990), residing in Block 12, Ben Thuy Ward, Vinh City, was unable to present documents proving the origin and quarantine certificate of the bird meat.
The Mobile Police Unit has now compiled a file and transferred the seized items and vehicles to the Vinh City Veterinary Station for processing in accordance with the law.
