(Baonghean.vn) - While illegally transporting a large quantity of 10% ketamine INJ across the border, a young man was discovered and arrested by the Border Guard Post at Nam Can International Border Gate in coordination with the Nam Can Border Gate Customs.

Accordingly, at 10:00 AM on August 27th, a task force from the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard Command, in coordination with the Nam Can Border Gate Customs, inspected a passenger bus with license plate (Laos) UN 0279, which was entering Vietnam from across the border and undergoing immigration procedures.

During a baggage check, the task force discovered passenger Phan Tuan Anh (born in 1992), from Van Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, carrying a brown bag containing three white rectangular boxes labeled "Ketamine 10% INJ," each containing 12 vials. Further inspection of the bus's luggage compartment revealed a large quantity of Ketamine 10% INJ stored in three Lao beer crates (each crate containing 83 vials of Ketamine 10% INJ).

According to Phan Tuan Anh's statement, the owner of the goods, he was transporting them to sell to someone in Vietnam.

Ketamine 10% INJ is known to be a form of methamphetamine, causing strong hallucinations in users.

The Nậm Cắn International Border Gate Border Guard Station is currently finalizing the paperwork to hand over to the relevant authorities for processing according to the law.
