Nghe An people caught strange bird and released it back into the forest
On October 7, Tan Ky Commune Police coordinated with Tan Ky Forest Ranger Department to hand over a rare Hornbill bird to Tan Ky Commune People's Committee to release it into the natural environment in accordance with legal regulations.
Previously, on October 3, Tan Ky Commune Police received a report from Mr. Dinh Duc Dung, born in 1962, residing in Block 1, Tan Ky Commune, about discovering a strange bird suspected to be a rare species flying into his family's garden.


After receiving the information, the Commune Police Working Group quickly arrived at the scene to receive the bird.
Through initial inspection, the bird was identified as a Hornbill belonging to the Hornbill Order, Hornbill Family with the scientific name Bucerotidae - a group IB species in the List of endangered, precious, and rare species issued with Circular No. 27/2025/TT-BNNMT dated June 24, 2025 of the Minister of Agriculture and Environment regulating the management of endangered, precious, and rare species.
