Arrest the man who humiliated others.
Kim Oanh, residing in Tra Vinh, was arrested and detained by investigators for insulting and humiliating others.
On October 10th, the Investigation Police Department of Tra Vinh City (Tra Vinh province) initiated criminal proceedings and temporarily detained Kim Oanh (40 years old, residing in Nguyet Hoa commune, Chau Thanh district) to investigate the act of "Humiliating others"
According to initial investigations, on September 18th, Kim Oanh and her friends went drinking at a karaoke bar in Ward 1, Tra Vinh City. After drinking, two of Oanh's friends called the bar manager into a room to attack him.
Upon receiving the report, the 113 police and the police of Ward 1 arrived at the scene to handle the incident.
When the police invited the individuals involved to the station for questioning, Kim Oanh repeatedly used vulgar language, insulted, and attacked Officer Son Huynh Thu of Ward 1 Police Station.
Two people in Oanh's group rushed forward to attack Thu, but the 113 police officers subdued them and took them to the station for questioning.
During the investigation, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Tra Vinh City Police had sufficient grounds to prove that Kim Oanh committed the act of "humiliating another person".
The Tra Vinh City Police are conducting a broader investigation to prosecute all individuals involved.
