Arrested old man who ruined the life of a girl selling lottery tickets leading to her giving birth

Taking advantage of the innocence of a lottery ticket seller, the 65-year-old man repeatedly seduced the victim into "adult activities", leading to pregnancy.

\The Cang Long District Police (Tra Vinh) has just announced: the investigation agency has just issued a decision to prosecute the accused and execute a 3-month temporary detention order against Nguyen Van Trong (65 years old, residing in Binh Hoi Hamlet, Huyen Hoi Commune, Cang Long District) to investigate and clarify the act of "Sexual intercourse with children".

According to the investigation agency, the victim is a 15-year-old girl (a 9th grader, living in the same commune). The girl's family situation is quite difficult. After school, the girl sells lottery tickets to earn a living and support her family.

The investigation agency proceeded to temporarily detain the suspect.

Because he lived close to her house, Mr. Trong took advantage of every time the girl came to sell lottery tickets to entice her with money to do “adult things”. After each time they had sex, Mr. Trong forbade the girl from telling her family about the incident. Later, the girl’s mother discovered that her belly was “bulging”, so she questioned her and took her to the hospital for a check-up, only to discover that she was pregnant.

At the end of August 2017, the victim gave birth to a 3.1 kg baby girl. Based on the family's complaint, the police started an investigation and conducted DNA testing procedures. As a result, the baby was Trong's. After consolidating the case, the investigation agency issued decisions to prosecute and temporarily detain the suspect.
