Young man arrested for having a child with a 'child boyfriend'.
Based on a complaint from the victim's relatives, the police investigated and determined that the child was Danh's. Since the mother was under 16 years old at the time of pregnancy, Danh violated the law.
The police in Tien Phuoc district (Quang Nam province) announced that the District Police Investigation Agency has issued a decision to prosecute and detain Tran Quoc Danh (20 years old, residing in Tien Lanh commune, Tien Phuoc district) for 4 months to facilitate the investigation into the crime of "Sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years old".

According to the investigation, in late February 2018, Danh became acquainted with Ng. LTU (born in 2003, residing in Tien Phuoc district, Quang Nam province). After getting to know each other and exchanging messages, Danh and U. developed feelings for each other.
When love blossomed, they couldn't "control themselves," and the two engaged in sexual activity. At that time, U. was not yet 16 years old. Later, her family noticed U. behaving strangely and took her for a medical examination, where it was discovered she was pregnant. The family then reported the incident to the police.
In February 2019, U. gave birth, and DNA testing confirmed that the child was U.'s and Danh's.
Following the forensic examination results, the Tien Phuoc District Police Investigation Agency initiated criminal proceedings and detained Danh for four months on charges of "sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years of age".
