Young man arrested for making 'child lover' give birth
Based on the complaint of the victim’s relatives, the police investigated and determined that the child was Danh’s. At the time of pregnancy, the mother was not yet 16 years old, so Danh violated the law.
Tien Phuoc District Police (Quang Nam) said that the District Police Investigation Agency has just issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Tran Quoc Danh (20 years old, residing in Tien Lanh Commune, Tien Phuoc District) for 4 months to serve the investigation of the crime of "Sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years old".

According to the investigation, at the end of February 2018, Danh met Ng. LTU (born 2003, residing in Tien Phuoc district, Quang Nam). After a period of getting to know each other and texting back and forth, Danh and U. developed feelings for each other.
When love came, they could not "hold themselves back", so they did "adult things". At that time, U. was not yet 16 years old. Later, the family saw that U. was acting strangely, so they took her to the doctor and discovered she was pregnant. The family reported it to the police.
In February 2019, U. gave birth and the DNA test results showed that it was U. and Danh's child.
After receiving the results of the examination, the Investigation Police Agency of Tien Phuoc District Police prosecuted and temporarily detained Danh for 4 months for the act of "Sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years old".
