Accordingly, at around 8:00 p.m. on August 25, in front of house number 219 Le Loi Street, Vinh City, detectives from Team 3, Environmental Police Department (PC49), suddenly inspected a pickup truck with license plate 37S - 7153.

Authorities inspect frozen chicken shipment

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered 11 black plastic bags containing pre-processed frozen chicken (without head) in the back of the truck, weighing more than 160kg in total.

Working with the authorities, driver Vo Van Sinh (born in 1972), residing in Nghi Hoa commune, Nghi Loc district, could not present documents proving the origin of the above shipment.

According to the driver's initial statement, the above shipment was purchased at An Binh Company (Cua Lo Town), at a price of 38,000 VND/kg and was being transported to Vinh City for consumption when it was arrested.
