(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 26th, Lieutenant Colonel Chu Minh Tien - Deputy Head of the Environmental Crime Prevention and Control Department (PC49), Nghean Provincial Police, announced that the unit had just seized a shipment of over 160kg of frozen chicken meat without documents proving its origin...
Accordingly, at around 8 PM on August 25th, in front of house number 219 on Le Loi Street, Vinh City, detectives from Team 3, Environmental Police Department (PC49), unexpectedly inspected a pickup truck with license plate 37S – 7153.

Upon inspection, authorities discovered 11 black plastic bags in the back of the truck containing pre-processed frozen chicken meat (without heads), with a total weight of over 160kg.
Working with the authorities, driver Vo Van Sinh (born in 1972), residing in Nghi Hoa commune, Nghi Loc district, was unable to present documents proving the origin of the aforementioned shipment.

According to the driver's initial statement, the shipment was purchased from An Binh Company (Cua Lo Town) at a price of 38,000 VND/kg and was being transported to Vinh City for sale when it was seized.

After completing the necessary paperwork, the Environmental Police handed over the aforementioned shipment to the Vinh City Veterinary Department for handling according to the law.
