Two men were arrested for possessing drugs while riding a motorbike.
Upon noticing two men riding a motorbike together exhibiting suspicious behavior, the Y8/141 task force of the Hanoi Police signaled them to stop for an administrative check, and discovered and seized 12 grams of methamphetamine.
The commander of Task Force Y8/141 – Hanoi City Police – has just announced the arrest of two young men for possessing narcotics and handed them over to the relevant authorities for processing.

Earlier, at around 10:30 PM on September 17th, the Y8/141 task force, while on duty at the Truong Dinh - Tan Mai intersection in Tan Mai ward, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi, spotted two men riding a motorbike with license plate 30H3-3273 exhibiting suspicious behavior, so they signaled them to stop for an administrative check.

During the inspection, the task force discovered two plastic bags containing white crystals (suspected to be methamphetamine) hidden in the pockets of the motorcycle driver. The two men were subsequently identified as Pham Chinh Nghia (44 years old, residing in Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City) and his companion, Pham Van Cong (33 years old, residing in Xuan Truong District, Nam Dinh Province).
At this point, Nghia confessed that the white crystals were methamphetamine weighing 12 grams, which he had bought for personal use. Immediately afterward, the task force drew up a report and handed over the suspect and the evidence to the Tan Mai Ward Police for handling according to their jurisdiction.
The incident is currently under investigation by the police.
