During a raid on a bar on Ba Trieu Street, police discovered several individuals engaged in drug trafficking. To evade authorities, these individuals used electric bicycles to transport the illicit goods, brazenly avoiding checkpoints manned by the 141 task force.

Previously, through investigative measures, detectives from Hang Bai ward discovered that a bar located on the 10th floor of house number 52, Ba Trieu street, showed many suspicious signs, with bar staff openly soliciting customers to use drugs.

Based on intelligence gathered, at approximately 0:15 AM this morning, December 19th, the police of Hang Bai ward, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi, in coordination with the operational teams of Hoan Kiem district police, unexpectedly raided and inspected the bar.

At this time, although it was quite late, dozens of young men and women were still drinking and dancing to loud music at the Top 9 bar. Police discovered and apprehended three individuals, Nguyen Thanh Dat (born in 1991, from Quang Ninh), Pham Van Huan (born in 1991, from Tuyen Quang), and Le Dinh Hien (born in 1991, from Hoai Duc, Hanoi), who were engaged in drug trafficking.

At the same time, several patrons at the bar who showed signs of drug use were also taken to the police station for verification.

At the police station, the suspects confessed to their actions. According to their statements, Hien directly solicited customers to buy drugs at the bar because the bar had protection money. To prove his claim, Hien called Dat and Huan to bring the drugs. These two used electric bicycles to transport the "contraband" in an attempt to evade the police.

The incident is currently under further investigation.
