Six people arrested for playing card game 'lieng' in a coffee shop.

(Baonghean.vn) -The Yen Thanh District Police announced that they are currently holding six individuals in custody for gambling at a coffee shop in Son Thanh commune.

At approximately 7:20 AM on September 11th, the Yen Thanh District Police unexpectedly raided Mai Than coffee shop (Hamlet 3, Son Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District) and arrested 6 individuals who were gambling using the card game "lieng".

At the gambling den, the police seized 23.8 million VND and a deck of playing cards. A search of the suspects' persons yielded an additional 22.5 million VND.

The six arrested individuals include: Tang Van Hung, Tran Van Thai, Nguyen Van Kien, Nguyen The Than, Nguyen Van Thanh (all residing in Son Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) and Truong Van Quy (residing in Nghi Van commune, Nghi Loc district).

Currently, the six individuals are being held in custody for further investigation.
