Suspect arrested for breaking into a house and stealing gold.
(Baonghean.vn) - On December 12th, the Thanh Chuong District Police announced that they are temporarily detaining Tran Van An, residing in Cat Van commune, Thanh Chuong district, on charges of theft.
Previously, on December 8th, the Thanh Chuong District Police received a report from Ms. NTH (born in 1977), residing in Cat Van commune, Thanh Chuong district, regarding a burglary at her home where thieves stole several gold jewelry items worth approximately 85 million VND.

Immediately after receiving the victim's report, the Thanh Chuong District Police quickly proceeded with verification and investigation to clarify the matter.
Through the coordinated and effective use of professional methods and the collected documents and evidence, after reporting to the provincial police leadership, at approximately 5 PM on December 10th, the Thanh Chuong District Police arrested Tran Van An (born in 1957), residing in Cat Van commune, Thanh Chuong district, for the crime of theft.

The money obtained from selling the gold was used to pay off debts and for personal expenses.
Currently, the Thanh Chuong District Police have placed the suspect under temporary criminal detention and are completing the necessary paperwork for processing according to the law.
