Authorities arrest suspect for stealing Rolex watch worth over 665 million VND.
At 9:00 AM on May 29th, the Truong Vinh Ward police received a report from Mr. HHT, born in 1985, residing in Trung Hop Hamlet, Truong Vinh Ward, regarding the theft of a Rolex watch worth 665 million VND.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Truong Vinh Ward Police dispatched a task force to the scene to direct, verify, clarify, and apprehend the suspect. Using professional methods, in less than 3 hours after receiving the report, the Truong Vinh Ward Police identified the suspected individual as Trinh Duy Manh, born in 1995, whose registered permanent residence is at Hamlet 5, Nghi Kim, Vinh Hung Ward, Nghe An Province.
During the investigation, the suspect initially appeared evasive, uncooperative, and attempted to deny the crime. However, faced with the collected documents and evidence, along with the investigators' rigorous reasoning, Trinh Duy Manh eventually admitted to the theft.
After stealing the property, Mạnh took it to a shop on Le Hong Phong Street in Thanh Vinh Ward and sold it for 150 million VND. The ward police seized the stolen item, a Rolex watch. Currently, the Truong Vinh ward police are continuing to consolidate the case file and documents to prosecute the suspect according to the law.
