Accordingly, on February 22, 2024, on National Highway 1A in Quynh Thien Ward, Hoang Mai Town, the Police Department for Investigation of Crimes of Corruption, Economy, Smuggling, and Environment presided over and coordinated with the Traffic Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) to inspect a tractor-trailer truck driven by LMK (born in 1988), residing in Nghia Dan District. At the time of inspection, the authorities discovered 83 tons of rocks on the vehicle.Raw quartzThere is no invoice to prove the origin. (born in 1991), residing in Chau Quang commune, Quy Hop district, from VVS (born in 1992), residing in Tam Hop commune, Quy Hop district, who then hired K. to transport them for sale. Conducting an inspection at the stone gathering area of VVS in Chau Hoan commune, Quy Chau district, the Police Department investigating crimes of corruption, economy, smuggling, and environment discovered more than 400 tons of raw quartz stones.
