Young man arrested for stealing dump truck.
Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy who stole a dump truck and was attempting to flee while driving it.
On October 12th, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Binh Duong Provincial Police arrested Danh Hoang Phuong (17 years old, from Hon Dat district, Kien Giang province) to investigate his alleged crimes.theft of property.
According to initial information, on the morning of October 11th, the police in Bac Tan Uyen district (Binh Duong province) received a report that a dump truck with license plate 61C - 461.63 and two mobile phones were stolen in Hamlet 5, Thuong Tan commune.
Immediately afterwards, the Bac Tan Uyen District Police, in coordination with the Criminal Police Department and the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police, launched a search and simultaneously notified local police units to cooperate in the search.
At 9:30 AM on the same day, in Binh Chanh district, the Bac Tan Uyen District Police, in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police, apprehended Phuong while he was driving a dump truck from Ho Chi Minh City towards Long An province.
After arresting Phuong, the police seized the vehicle and related evidence.
Authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify the incident.
