On January 31, Nghia Dan District Police initiated a case.prosecuteagainst Do Thi Bich (born in 1994), residing in Tam Hop commune, Quy Hop district, for theft of property. Previously, in late December 2023 and early January 2024, Nghia Dan District Police received reports from a number of residents about bad guys breaking in and stealing many valuable properties. In order to quickly arrest the criminals, Nghia Dan District Police established a special task force to fight.
After a period of monitoring and applying synchronous professional measures, on January 23, 2024, Nghia Dan District Police successfully broke the case, arresting Do Thi Bich for theft of property. Bich has a previous conviction for theft of property. Searching Bich's residence, the Police seized many pieces of evidence related to the crime, including: VND 45,000,000 in cash, 03 mobile phones, 01 motorbike, 01 ATM card.
Through initial investigation, the suspect confessed that he took advantage of the homeowner's absence to break in and commit two thefts in Nghia Dan district, stealing 80 million VND and 3 cell phones.
