On January 31st, the Nghia Dan District Police initiated a criminal case.initiate criminal proceedings against the suspect.Regarding Do Thi Bich (born in 1994), residing in Tam Hop commune, Quy Hop district, for the crime of theft. Previously, in late December 2023 and early January 2024, Nghia Dan District Police received reports from several residents about criminals breaking into their homes and stealing valuable property. To quickly apprehend the perpetrators, Nghia Dan District Police established a special task force to investigate.
After a period of surveillance and the coordinated application of professional measures, on January 23, 2024, the Nghia Dan District Police successfully cracked a case and arrested Do Thi Bich for theft. Bich had one prior conviction for theft. During a search of Bich's residence, the police seized numerous pieces of evidence related to the crime, including: 45,000,000 VND in cash, 3 mobile phones, 1 motorcycle, and 1 ATM card.
During initial questioning, the suspect confessed to taking advantage of the homeowners' absence to break into and commit two thefts in Nghia Dan district, stealing 80 million VND and three mobile phones.
Currently, the investigation into this case is ongoing and being expanded.
