Man arrested for smashing car windows to steal valuables.
The police in Ha Dong district (Hanoi) have just arrested a suspect who smashed numerous car windows to steal property.
According to the investigation, Quang worked at a restaurant in Tan Trieu commune, Thanh Tri district. Due to insufficient funds, he conceived the idea of smashing car windows to steal property. On the afternoon of June 16th, Quang took a hammer and gloves and went to an internet cafe in the Khuat Duy Tien - Nguyen Trai area.
At around 11:30 PM, Quang left the internet cafe to "carry out his plan." Upon arriving at the Van Quan urban area (Ha Dong district), Quang noticed many cars parked overnight on the street, lacking proper security.
The suspect smashed the windows of a total of 9 cars, stealing some valuables and money. Afterwards, Thai Van Quang continued to wander around, changed his clothes, and took a bus back to a restaurant in Tan Trieu, Thanh Tri.
Upon receiving the report, the Ha Dong District Police quickly launched an investigation, cordoned off the area, and arrested the suspect, Thai Van Quang.
