Two restaurant employees arrested urgently for fighting in front of hospital.

On the afternoon of June 4th, the Criminal Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police announced the urgent arrest of several employees involved in a brawl between two restaurants on Nguyen Van Cu Street, Buon Ma Thuot City, in front of the Central Highlands Regional General Hospital.

Accordingly, the police have placed Nguyen Tran Quoc Thang (born in 1999, residing in Ea Tam ward) and Tran Ba ​​Duy Phuong (born in 2003, residing in Tu An ward) under temporary criminal detention for investigation into the acts of "Disrupting public order" and "Intentionally causing injury". Three other individuals, Pham Quang Vinh (born in 1993), Le Van Thai (born in 1990), and Truong Trong Tan (born in 2009), have been released on bail and are continuing to assist with the investigation.

According to initial investigations, recently, some employees of the Thanh Ha and Be Ba restaurants, located opposite the gate of the Central Highlands Regional General Hospital, have frequently clashed due to conflicts over attracting customers. The conflict escalated on the morning of June 2nd, when verbal arguments turned into physical fights. Some individuals used weapons such as wooden crutches, striking repeatedly, resulting in one employee of the Be Ba restaurant being hospitalized for emergency treatment. Initial assessments indicate that the victim sustained 20% injuries.

The investigating agency also determined that Thang, Phuong, and Thai were employees of Thanh Ha restaurant, while Vinh was an employee of Be Ba restaurant.

According to locals, the practice of touts soliciting and luring customers in front of the Central Highlands Regional General Hospital has been going on for a long time. Authorities have launched several campaigns to address the issue, but the situation recurs as soon as the officers leave.
