Emergency arrest of subject who slashed mother-in-law to critical condition due to emotional conflict
On September 16, the authorities urgently arrested Phung Van Giang (born 1999) to investigate the act of using a knife to slash his mother-in-law, causing a stir in local public opinion.
According to the initial investigation results, at around 12 noon on September 11, Giang brought a knife to the house of his mother-in-law, Ms. NTL (born in 1982, residing in Yen Lam 2 area, Dong Trieu ward, Quang Ninh province) to ask about the whereabouts of his wife, Ms. Nguyen Thi Th.H. (born in 2003).
Unable to find his wife, Giang became blindly jealous and suddenly swung a knife at Mrs. L.'s head, face, and body, causing the victim to collapse on the spot and have to be hospitalized in critical condition.
Phung Van Giang and his wife had many incidents.conflict, every time they argued, Ms. H. often left home, and Giang threatened to commit suicide to hold on to their feelings. On the evening of September 10, after an argument, Ms. H. continued to leave home and lost contact, making Giang angry and causing him to act rashly.
After committing the crime, Phung Van Giang fled. Under the direction of the Provincial Police Department, the Criminal Police force quickly investigated and arrested the subject at 10:30 p.m. the same day.
The case is currently under investigation and handling according to the law.
