Suspect arrested for disposing of a man's body parts in a backpack.

The woman who murdered the man and dumped his head in a trash can in Binh Duong was the victim's wife.

On December 18th, the Binh Duong Provincial Police arrested Hoang Thi Hong Diem (32 years old, from Hau Giang province) to investigate the murder of her husband and the disposal of his body in multiple locations in Thuan Giao ward, Thuan An town.

Initially, Diễm confessed that she murdered Trần Thanh Tú (37 years old, from Sóc Trăng province) due to marital conflict. Both of them lived in a rented room near where the victim's head was found.

On the morning of the same day, the remaining body parts of the victim were also found at two garbage collection sites in Thuan Giao ward.

Colonel Tran Van Chinh, Deputy Director of the Binh Duong Provincial Police, said that the police are urgently investigating and clarifying the developments of the case.

At noon on December 16th, garbage collectors on Thuan Giao 9 Street, Thuan Giao Ward, were horrified to discover a man's head with multiple wounds. The body was found inside a blue backpack, covered with a layer of nylon, left by the roadside.
