Arrested suspect specializing in groping women's breasts and buttocks on the street

Today, February 22, Dien Khanh District Police (Khanh Hoa) announced that they have identified a young man who has been harassing many women riding motorbikes on Provincial Road 8 (from National Highway 1 through Dien Khanh town to Dien Lam commune, Dien Khanh District) recently. That man is Tran Dinh T. (25 years old, in Dien Lam commune).

Before the Lunar New Year, Dien Khanh District Police received complaints from many local women about a young man riding a motorbike, wearing a mask, driving in the same direction on Provincial Road 8, then coming from behind and coming up alongside a woman's motorbike, touching her breasts and buttocks with his hands. After this act, the young man sped away very quickly.

Upon receiving the information, the police force conducted a review and verification. On the morning of February 21, through reconnaissance work, the police took T. to the police station for questioning. Here, T. confessed that he had committed the above act many times; the first time was about 3 months ago, the most recent time was before Tet and this act did not occur every day.

According to Dien Khanh District Police, T. currently lives with his wife and children in Dien Lam Commune. T. is a worker for a local company. T. often commits the above acts on his way to work, around 6:30 - 6:45 a.m. T. claims he does not know why he does so.

Dien Khanh District Police said T.'s behavior caused panic among women passing through the above-mentioned route, and could easily cause traffic accidents with the victim. The police are consolidating the case file to handle T.
