(Baonghean.vn) - The newly purchased Yamaha Sirius motorbike was stolen from her workplace nearly 6 years ago. Now, Nam Dan District Police officers have found it and returned it to Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang.

On the afternoon of June 4, Lieutenant Colonel Dao Hong Nguyen - Captain of the Traffic Police Team of Nam Dan District Police said that the Team had completed all procedures and handed over the Yamaha Sirius motorbike to Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang (born in 1995), residing in Hamlet 10, Trang Son Commune, Do Luong District, which had been lost 6 years earlier.
Previously, at around 9:10 a.m. on May 29, the Patrol Control Team of the Traffic Police Team (Nam Dan District Police) was on duty to inspect and handle traffic violations on a road in Xuan Hoa Commune, Nam Dan District, when they discovered a man driving a motorbike with license plate number 37E1-023.59, Yamaha Sirius brand, not complying with the Traffic Safety Law (not wearing a helmet).

When signaled to stop the vehicle, upon inspection, the driver of the motorbike, Le Duy Cong (born in 1982), residing in Hamlet 3, Nam Anh Commune, Nam Dan District, could not present any identification documents of the driver and the vehicle. The working group drew up an administrative violation record and temporarily detained the motorbike to serve the handling work according to the provisions of law.
About 20 minutes later, Le Duy Cong came directly to work with the Working Group and presented a motorbike registration certificate, an identity card and a class A1 driver's license all under the name of Le Duy Cong. During the inspection, it was found that the motorbike registration certificate had many suspicious points, so the Working Group made a record of the incident and temporarily detained the related documents and vehicles and invited Le Duy Cong to the police headquarters to assist in the investigation and settlement of the case.

At the police station, through investigating the chassis number and engine number of the vehicle, the Working Group determined that the license plate attached to the vehicle was a fake one. Continuing to verify, the Working Group determined that the motorbike belonged to Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang (born in 1995, residing in Trang Son commune, Do Luong district) and had the license plate number 37D1-574.60. Immediately afterwards, the Traffic Police Team (Nam Dan District Police) invited Ms. Trang to the headquarters to complete the procedures to receive the property back.

The owner of the motorbike said that the motorbike was stolen in 2013 from the parking lot of the local garment company where she has worked for nearly 6 years.
