(Baonghean.vn) - The motorbike, which was stolen in 2008 in Ward 7, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, has now been returned to its family by the Quynh Luu District Police.
On the afternoon of August 4th, the Traffic Police Team of Quynh Luu District Police returned a motorbike to the family of Mr. Le Van Trieu in Hiep Thanh commune, Chau Thanh district, Long An province, which had been stolen by thieves.
Lieutenant Colonel Vo Quang Trung, Head of the Traffic Police Team of Quynh Luu District Police, said: While patrolling and controlling traffic safety violations on the roads, on May 27, 2015, the Quynh Luu District Traffic Police Team discovered Ms. Le Thi Xuyen (born in 1998, residing in Hamlet 18, Quynh Van Commune, Quynh Luu District) driving a Jupiter V motorbike with license plate 37L8-4270 in violation of traffic regulations.
Upon checking her vehicle documents, Ms. Xuyen was unable to present her motorbike registration and driver's license, and the police confiscated her vehicle for further investigation.

Through a search of the nationwide motorcycle registration records provided by the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police, the Traffic Police Team of Quynh Luu District Police determined that the motorcycle in question belongs to Mr. Le Van Trieu, residing at 35 Hamlet 3, Tran Vui Town, Hiep Thanh Commune, Chau Thanh District, Long An Province, and is registered with license plate 62H6-8559.
Reportedly, the motorbike was stolen in 2008 in Ward 7, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, while it was parked inside the house and stolen by burglars.
On the afternoon of August 4th, Ms. Vo Thi Thu Van, a relative of the victim, was present at the Quynh Luu Police Station to reclaim her motorbike after it had been stolen 8 years ago.
