As an accountant for a company, Nguyen Thi My Ly approached many people to gain their trust. She then asked to borrow money for business purposes and subsequently planned to embezzle it.
The Quang Ngai Provincial Police Investigation Agency announced that it has initiated criminal proceedings and issued an arrest warrant for Nguyen Thi My Ly (37 years old, residing in Duc Pho town, Quang Ngai province). The suspect, Ly, was formerly an accountant at a company in Duc Pho town.

During her work, Nguyen Thi My Ly sought to approach and befriend many people to gain their trust. She then fabricated various investment projects to borrow money. Many people believed her and lent her over 20 billion VND. After obtaining the money, Ly devised a scheme to defraud and misappropriate it for personal use.
