23 people caught gambling, nearly 300 million VND seized.
At the scene, the task force seized 27 motorcycles, 12 mobile phones, nearly 300 million VND, and other evidence.
On April 7th, the Criminal Police Department of Tien Giang Provincial Police announced that they are consolidating the investigation files and processing the cases of individuals who gathered to gamble at the house of Ms. Le Thi Ngo (born in 1987, residing in Hoi Xuan commune, Cai Lay district).
Following a tip-off from the public, the Criminal Police Department, in coordination with the Mobile Police Department and the Hoi Xuan Commune Police, conducted a raid on the aforementioned house, catching 23 individuals red-handed while they were gathered to gamble.

At the scene, law enforcement officers seized 27 motorcycles, 12 mobile phones, nearly 300 million VND, and other evidence. Those involved were taken to the police station for questioning to assist with the investigation.
According to the police, in some areas, people are currently renting out their houses to gamblers to use as gambling dens. This is a violation of the law and will be dealt with accordingly.
