On July 28, police in Ky Anh Town, Ha Tinh Province searched an illegal oriental medicine manufacturing facility and seized hundreds of boxes of medicine of unknown origin.

Through information from the public, the police force of Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh province searched the house rented by Nguyen Thi Thao (born in 1987) in Tan Phong residential group, Ky Thinh ward, Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh.

After the search, Ky Anh police discovered and recorded a record of confiscation of dozens of pre-packaged packages, along with hundreds of boxes of medicine packaged into round pills, ready to be sold.

Authorities also discovered a series of packages containing corn flour, sticky rice flour, molasses and some drugs of unknown origin, along with thousands of bottles piled up waiting to be packed in boxes.

Here, the owner of the facility could not present any relevant documents permitting the production of the above-mentioned oriental medicine in pill form.

It is known that after being packaged, these drugs will be transported for consumption in many places across the country. The case is being further investigated by the police./.
