Authorities caught a case of illegal land exploitation outside the permitted timeframe.
(Baonghean.vn) - At 10:00 AM on September 19th, at Bau Com Dam in Nghi Kieu commune, Nghi Loc district, the Environmental Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) coordinated with the Nghi Loc District Police and the Nghi Kieu Commune People's Committee to apprehend a case of illegal mineral exploitation outside the permitted time frame.

At the scene, authorities discovered numerous machines and vehicles belonging to GD Vietnam Mineral Joint Stock Company (located in Hamlet 4, Nghi Kieu Commune, Nghi Loc District) that were in operation.land exploitationon a large scale.
However, this exploitation violates the regulations of the Provincial People's Committee on dredging and extraction at Bau Com Dam.

Accordingly, dredging and extraction activities are permitted to be carried out from April to August each year (for a period of 5 years, starting from 2020), but as of September 19, 2021, GD Vietnam Mineral Joint Stock Company was still conducting mining activities, which is not in accordance with the prescribed timeframe.
