Authorities caught a passenger bus carrying over 4,800 chicks of unknown origin.
(Baonghean.vn) - The driver, Nhat, confessed that he was hired to transport 64 cardboard boxes for a customer from Thai Binh to Nghe An, where someone would come to pick them up.
Accordingly, at 3:30 AM on September 27th, a traffic police team from Yen Thanh District Police, while patrolling and inspecting on National Highway 7B, in the section passing through Yen Thanh town, spotted a passenger bus with license plate 37B - 018.70 traveling in the direction of Dien Chau - Yen Thanh exhibiting several suspicious signs.

Immediately, the task force signaled the driver to stop the vehicle for inspection as per regulations. During the inspection, authorities discovered 64 cardboard boxes containing over 4,800 chicks, aged 1 to 2 days old.
At the time of inspection, driver Bui Huu Nhat was unable to present documents related to the origin and quarantine certificates of the aforementioned goods.
Initially, the Japanese driver confessed that he was hired to transport the goods from Thai Binh to Nghe An for a client, where someone would come to pick them up.
After documenting the incident, the Traffic Police Team of Yen Thanh District Police handed over the aforementioned poultry to the Yen Thanh District Livestock and Veterinary Station for handling according to regulations.
