Truck driver arrested for running over and killing someone and then fleeing
Causing a fatal accident, the truck driver, despite fleeing, still cannot escape punishment.
On the afternoon of January 7, the Investigation Police Agency of Go Dau District (Tay Ninh) arrested Nguyen Van Ni (36 years old, residing in Tri Binh Commune, Chau Thanh District, Tay Ninh) for driving a truck causing a fatal traffic accident and then fleeing.

At an area 200 meters from Ven Ven intersection, Da Han hamlet, Hiep Thanh commune, Go Dau district, Ni fell asleep and crossed into the motorbike lane, colliding with motorbike with license plate 70L4 - 8390 driven by Nguyen Trong Ngai (53 years old, residing in Truong Dong commune, Hoa Thanh district, Tay Ninh) going in the same direction ahead.
The collision caused Mr. Ngai to fall onto the road and was run over by the truck behind him, killing him on the spot. Looking through the rearview mirror, seeing that there was no one on the road, Ni drove away to An Binh commune, Chau Thanh district, Tay Ninh.
