Le Chi Thanh has been detained for two months.

On April 14th, the Thu Duc Police in Ho Chi Minh City initiated legal proceedings and ordered a two-month temporary detention for Le Chi Thanh (born in 1983, residing in Tan Hung Thuan Ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City), a former police officer who had been stripped of his rank, to investigate his alleged misconduct."Resisting law enforcement officers"This decision was approved by the People's Procuratorate of the same level.

The suspect is Le Chi Thanh.

Le Chi Thanh was arrested for his involvement in resisting a task force from the Rach Chiec Traffic Police Team, under the Road and Rail Traffic Police Department (PC08) of the Ho Chi Minh City Police, after being found violating the Road Traffic Law on Hanoi Highway on the morning of March 20.

Specifically, at the time of the incident, Le Chi Thanh was driving a car with license plate 51H - 108.21 in the lane designated for two-wheeled vehicles. When the traffic police signaled him to stop for inspection and administrative violation processing, Thanh was uncooperative and refused to comply. When the traffic police dispatched a tow truck to tow his car, Thanh made provocative remarks and obstructed the officers from performing their duties.

The suspect, Le Chi Thanh, was formerly a police officer at a prison and had his title as a police officer revoked. Recently, Thanh has frequently appeared and caused a stir on social media with clips of him "monitoring traffic police" on duty and spreading false information about official activities to attract followers for personal gain, negatively impacting security and order.

Currently, the Investigation Police Department of Thu Duc District Police is continuing to expand the investigation into the case, clarifying the illegal actions of the suspect and those involved.
