Female company director arrested for tax evasion of billions of dong

According to the investigation, at the end of March 2015, the Trading Company, of which Ms. Nhung is the director, was leased by the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee land plots No. 14 and No. 15, map sheet No. 33, located in Buu Hoa Ward, Bien Hoa City, with a total area of ​​nearly 31,000m2, to invest in an eco-tourism site for a period of 50 years. The form of land rental payment is annual, from 2014 to 2064.

However, after being allocated the land, TM Company did not implement any items of the investment project, and at the same time requested to change the form of land rental payment from annual payment to one-time payment for the entire land rental period and was approved by Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee.

After changing the form of payment and land rent payment. In April 2018, TM Company signed a contract to transfer land use rights to QC Transport - Logistics and Trading Joint Stock Company, with Mr. NNH as general director.

Through professional measures, the Dong Nai Provincial Police Department determined that the Trading Company, of which Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung is the director, had evaded corporate income tax of nearly VND 3.6 billion, so they decided to initiate a criminal case, prosecute the accused and temporarily detain her.
