General Director arrested for fraudulent land plot sales.
The Police Investigation Agency has served the decision to prosecute and executed the arrest warrant to detain and investigate Vo Chi Trung for the crime of "Fraudulent appropriation of property".
In early July 2022, Vo Chi Trung (born in 1995, residing in Thong Nhat Ward, Kon Tum City, Kon Tum Province; current residence at Hamlet 1, Tan Hiep Commune, Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province) used his legal status as the General Director of An Phat Real Estate Investment and Development Co., Ltd., located in An Binh Ward, Di An City, Binh Duong Province, to instruct his employees to sell 22 plots of land in Hamlet 6, Loc Hung Commune, Loc Ninh District, Binh Phuoc Province.
Despite knowing that these 22 plots of land did not have land use right certificates and did not meet the conditions for transfer according to the law, Vo Chi Trung still sold 4 plots to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thanh in Ward 27, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City for a total of 1,950,000,000 VND.
After having Ms. Thanh sign one side of the land use rights transfer contract at the notary office, Vo Chi Trung used fraudulent methods to forge the seller's signature, photocopy the transfer contract, and falsify images of the land use rights certificates for the plots of land Ms. Thanh had purchased, sending them to Ms. Thanh for the purpose of...misappropriation of propertyThat is 1,950,000,000 VND.
After realizing she had been deceived, Ms. Thanh filed a complaint against Vo Chi Trung with the police. The case is currently under investigation and will be handled according to the law.
