At around 10:00 p.m. on June 13, at the fishing island area 3 nautical miles from shore, the patrol team of the Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard, in coordination with the force of Company 33 of the Fishing Island, Nghe An Military Command, discovered two unlicensed wooden boats captained by Mr. Dau Van Chung (born in 1973) and Mr. Nghiem Van Thanh (born in 1980), residing in Hai Thuong Commune, Tinh Gia District, Thanh Hoa Province, using homemade tools and electric shocks to illegally catch seafood. They seized a large amount of electric wires, homemade guns and air compressors.

Also on the night of June 3, at 12:00 a.m. in the waters of Nghi Loc district, 5 nautical miles from shore, the patrol team of Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station discovered and arrested a fishing boat with license plate NA 90779TS, operated by Mr. Nguyen Van Hong (born in 1978), residing in Block 6, Nghi Thuy Ward, Cua Lo town, using a rake to catch aquatic products contrary to the content stated in the license for the exploitation area.
Currently, the Border Guard Station of Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port is completing the documents for processing according to the provisions of law./.
