The thief who snatched a young woman's handbag has been apprehended.
Upon spotting the girl with a handbag slung over her shoulder, the suspect approached her, snatched it, and sped away on his motorbike, but was apprehended.
On February 2nd, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Tan Uyen Town Police (Binh Duong province) announced that it had issued a decision to initiate a criminal case, indict the suspect, and execute a temporary detention order against Huynh Van Tung (21 years old, from An Giang province) to continue investigating and clarifying the act of "robbery".

When they reached the section of road in Tan Hoa hamlet (Tan Vinh Hiep commune, Tan Uyen town), Ms. Kieu had her handbag snatched by a man on a motorbike who then sped away. Seeing this, Mr. Giang immediately chased after him, tackled the robber to the ground, and shouted for help to apprehend the suspect and hand him over to the police.
At the police station, the suspect, identified as Huynh Van Tung, confessed to the entire act of snatching Ms. Kieu's handbag. Inside the handbag were an OPPO A37F mobile phone, a NOKIA 105 phone, and some cash, with a total value of over 4 million VND.
The incident is currently under further investigation by the authorities.
