Captain arrested for illegal possession of explosives.
The arrested individual is the captain of a fishing vessel, residing in Quynh Lap commune, Hoang Mai town. The seized items include 5 kg of explosives, 170 detonators, and 9.75 meters of slow-burning fuse.
Earlier, at approximately 8:00 AM on December 29th, at the Tan Hai fishing port area, Tan Hai village, Quynh Lap commune, Hoang Mai town, the police force of Quynh Luu district, Quynh Thuan Border Guard Post, and Quynh Phuong Border Guard Post (Nghe An Border Guard Command) jointly conducted an inspection and discovered that Le Ba Duong (born in 1984), residing in Tan Thanh village, Quynh Lap commune, Hoang Mai town, Nghe An province (captain of fishing vessel NA-91571-TS), was illegally possessing explosive materials.
The seized items included 5 kg of explosives, 170 detonators, and 9.75 meters of slow-burning fuse.
Currently, the relevant units are coordinating to investigate and handle the case in accordance with the law.
