Truck caught transporting dead buffalo

At 20:50, while patrolling at km 06, National Highway 7A, the working group of Traffic Police Team 1-7 inspected a truck with license plate 37C-122.50 driven by Mr. Nguyen Trong An, born in 1971, residing in Dai Son commune, Do Luong district.

Officers of Dien Chau District Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station inspected 4 buffaloes, one of which was dead and was being transported on a truck.

Authorities discovered the vehicle was carrying 4 buffaloes, one of which was dead and smelled foul.

The driver could not present any documents proving the origin, animal quarantine... from the authorities and admitted to transporting the buffalo from Do Luong district to Dien Tan commune, Dien Chau district for consumption.

Previously, at 2:30 p.m. on November 11, on National Highway 7B, in Dien Ky commune, Dien Chau district, the Traffic Police Team of Dien Chau district coordinated with the Dien Chau district Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station to arrest a truck with license plate 36C-07365 driven by Mr. Hoang Sy Lan, born in 1964, residing in Dien Loc commune, Dien Chau district, carrying 21 pigs.

These pigs do not have quarantine or food safety certificates from the authorities.

Through inspection, these pigs have origin but do not have quarantine certificate from the Veterinary Department.

The working group has drawn up a record of the temporary detention of the above livestock and handed it over to the Dien Chau District Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station to handle administrative violations in the veterinary field and handle the livestock according to the provisions of law./.
