Election to fill the vacant position of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union for the 2017-2022 term.
(Baonghean.vn) - Comrade Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary in charge of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Student Association, and President of the Provincial Children's Council - has been elected as the Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union for the term 2017-2022.
With the approval of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, on the morning of December 3rd, the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union held a meeting to elect an additional Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union for the 17th term, 2017-2022.
Attending the conference were representatives from the Office and Departments of the Provincial Party Committee, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc, and members of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, 17th term.

At the conference, the leadersProvincial Youth UnionThrough the proposals from the Provincial Youth Union, the agreement of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and the official letter from the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, it was unanimously decided that the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union would proceed with the election process to appoint Comrade Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary in charge of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Student Association, and President of the Provincial Children's Council - to the position of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, 17th term, 2017-2022.

The conference proceeded to vote for the Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union for the 17th term, with Comrade Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary in charge of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Student Association, and President of the Provincial Children's Council - replacing Comrade Nguyen Thi Thom - Acting Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, who was transferred by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to the position of Secretary of the Hung Nguyen District Party Committee.

As a result, Comrade Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary in charge of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Student Association, and President of the Provincial Children's Council - was elected Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union for the 17th term, 2017-2022, with 100% of the votes.
The conference also elected eight additional members to the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union for the 2017-2022 term.
