Chairman Duc reacts with shock, withdraws his "insiders" from the VFF.
Chairman Duc continues to take tough stances against the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). Specifically, he announced that he will not participate in the VFF Executive Committee for the eighth term, and also removed Team Manager Nguyen Tan Anh from the most powerful governing body in Vietnamese football.
In the second list of nominees for the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) for the 8th term, the names of Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc ( bầu Đức) and the Head of the HAGL Football Club delegation, Nguyen Tan Anh, are included. Specifically, Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc is nominated for the position of VFF President, while Mr. Nguyen Tan Anh is nominated as a member of the VFF Executive Committee.

However, in a recent move, bầu Đức (Chairman of HAGL) affirmed his stance of remaining uninvolved with the VFF in its eighth term, even removing Team Leader Nguyễn Tấn Anh from the Executive Committee. This means that the team from Pleiku will not hold any position in the VFF, including the Executive Committee.
The reason bầu Đức is taking a tough stance against the VFF is because he believes that the most powerful football organization in Vietnam continues to show a lack of transparency, fairness, and engages in underhanded tactics and tricks, so his team doesn't want to be involved with it.
It's worth noting that, on the first day of his "attack" on the VFF, bầu Đức (HAGL's chairman) shared that HAGL wanted team manager Nguyễn Tấn Anh to be a member of the Executive Committee so that there would be someone to offer constructive criticism and understand the situation at the VFF.
However, Mr. Duc was frustrated because his direct feedback during the Executive Committee meeting (March 16th) was met with silence and no action regarding the issue of one person holding multiple positions. Specifically, this concerns Mr. Tran Anh Tu, Chairman of the VPF Board of Directors, General Director of the organization, Head of the V.League Executive Board, and potentially soon to take on the additional role of Vice President of the VFF in charge of finance and sponsorship...
Alongside announcing his withdrawal from the VFF, Chairman Duc is also ready to withdraw HAGL from the V.League. The owner of the Pleiku-based club is likely to move HAGL to compete abroad. He hinted that he has a specific plan to give players like Cong Phuong a chance to play instead of having to return to their hometown for a period of time.
