Nghe An Border Guard timely rescues a border guard officer from Laos

(Baonghean.vn) - On the night of May 30, the Thanh Thuy Border Gate Medical Station (Nghe An Border Guard) promptly provided first aid to a Laotian military officer of Company 252, Bolikhamxay Provincial Military Command.

Accordingly, at 11:30 p.m. on May 30, 2016, Major Honda, Company Commander, Company 252, Bolikhamxay Provincial Military Command (25 km from Thanh Thuy Border Gate Station) was brought by officers and soldiers of the Company for emergency treatment and medical examination. Upon arrival at the station, the patient was in a coma, hypoglycemia, headache, nausea, and life-threatening.

Immediately, the Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station sent two military medical officers to directly provide emergency care and treatment to the patient. After examination, the military medical station diagnosed the patient with a stroke. Thanks to timely emergency care, by the morning of May 31, the patient had overcome the critical stage and his health gradually stabilized.

Currently, the Thanh Thuy Border Gate Border Guard Station's medical staff is continuing to monitor and contact Thanh Chuong District General Hospital to transfer the patient to a higher level for continued monitoring and treatment.
