(Baonghean.vn) - On the night of May 30th, the medical team of the Thanh Thuy border gate (Nghe An Border Guard Command) promptly provided emergency medical care to a Lao army officer from Company 252, Bolikhamsai Provincial Military Command.
Accordingly, at 11:30 PM on May 30, 2016, Major Honda, Company Commander of Company 252 under the Military Command of Bolikhamsai Province (25 km from Thanh Thuy Border Gate Border Guard Post), was brought to the post by officers and soldiers for emergency medical treatment. Upon arrival, the patient was in a coma, suffering from hypoglycemia, headache, nausea, and was in critical condition.

Immediately, the Thanh Thuy border guard post dispatched two military medical personnel to provide emergency care and treatment to the patient. After examination, the medical personnel diagnosed the patient with a stroke. Thanks to timely emergency treatment, by the morning of May 31st, the patient had passed the critical stage and their health gradually stabilized.
Currently, the medical team at Thanh Thuy border gate is continuing to monitor the patient and contacting Thanh Chuong District General Hospital to transfer the patient to a higher-level facility for further monitoring and treatment.
